Woodland Picnic Area
The Woodland Picnic Area is a fantastic bushland space for families and community groups. The Picnic Area is approximately 400 metres from the car park and includes large open grasslands for ball games, a bicycle track, free barbecue facilities and two playgrounds.

Trolleys available
To help you carry your picnic basket to the Woodland Picnic Area, a free trolley is available at the Visitor Centre subject to availability; just bring some personal identification when you come to borrow the trolley.
Facilities
- The Large Pavilion contains four free gas barbecue hot plates and six picnic table and bench settings to seat at least eight people each.
- The Small Pavilion contains two free gas barbecue hot plates and two picnic table and bench settings to seat at least eight people each.
- The Copse Picnic Space is located past the playground in the far copse of trees and provides one picnic table with bench seats.
Please note:
- Pets and portable barbecues are not permitted under the Royal Botanic Gardens Regulations 2004.
- Please do not feed the wildlife.
- Pavilions cannot be booked.
- The Woodland Picnic Area is closed on days of EXTREME fire danger rating and above.

Stringybark Picnic Area
Have lunch in an immersive bush setting at Stringybark Picnic Area. Offering free electric barbeques and picnic tables, you can enjoy your meal surrounded by the sounds of nature.
Stringybark Picnic Area is situated close to car parking, and is at the doorstep of the 'Manna Walk' walking track loop.
