This interactive art installation by Kathy Holowko presents a playful twist on urban planning with co-habitation and urban ecology ideas at its heart. Participants watch an informative animation and then explore the wild city.

Enjoy a guided walk through the Australian Garden to learn all about these marvellous marsupials! Whether you live in the bush or the heart of the city, learn which plants and garden features can support your favourite critters, and some simple steps to act for bandicoots and help them thrive in the suburbs.

Bloodwood Garden 

Come and enjoy performances from South-east artists from the GRID Series Program: M4RTHA, Jordz, ACP, Kiid Koda as well as a local DJ! These talented artists recorded film clips at the Red Sand Garden in collaboration with RBGV in 2025. GRID Series is a music program supporting emerging artists from outer-metropolitan Melbourne, including mentoring, song development, recording sessions, video content, and live performance opportunities.
