Delight in watching award winning theatre ensemble, Born in a Taxi, perform their Southern Brown Bandicoot inspired show.

See the world as a Bandicoot does, as you join in craft and science activities to uncover the wonderful world of our native marsupials.

A light-hearted performance by award-winning theatre ensemble Born In A Taxi, based on one of our favourite residents - the endangered Southern Brown Bandicoot.

This interactive art installation by Kathy Holowko presents a playful twist on urban planning with co-habitation and urban ecology ideas at its heart. Participants watch an informative animation and then explore the wild city.

Come and enjoy performances from South-east artists from the GRID Series Program: Martha, Jordz, ACP, Kiid Koda as well as a local DJ! These talented artists recorded film clips at the Red Sand Garden in collaboration with RBGV in 2025.GRID Series is a music program supporting emerging artists from outer-metropolitan Melbourne, including mentoring, song development, recording sessions, video content, and live performance opportunities.
